Gerald Fossis a Philadelphia based artist.

These selected works, which are the culmination of several years of development, were rendered with technical pens and were constructed to give the audience an alternative view of structural sanity. The underlying concept is that we are all represented by patterns and waves; everything else is just the semantics of existence.

Gerald (Jerry) is a self-taught artist. Art has always been a part of his life since he first started seriously drawing in high school. Jerry has worked with watercolors, oils, and pencils, turning to colored pens in the last several years.

He first started working in colored pens out of boredom with some of the more traditional mediums. As a primary caregiver to a ten year old it also lent itself to a more “stop and go” work ethic! Over time he began to develop his current style, which he views as part rainbow/wave art and part fractal art. His animal portraits highlight a more realistic interpretation.

Jerry shares his home with his wife, his young daughter, Anna, and (a few) cats.
